Avalon
Concept
The concept behind Avalon is the King Arthur myth told through the lens of a game dev team working on a fantasy game called Avalon. There would be a contest to find a coder or programmer for the team. The contest would be to find something hidden within the game files (something relating to Excalibur).
A college freshman named Arthur wins the contest. He becomes a fish out of water with all these college seniors and recent grads who are working on this game.
Luckily Morgan, a member of the team acts as his mentor to show him around. This would harken back to the original story where she starts off benevolent but eventually betrays him.
Gwen is the Project Lead and assists with the art of the game. Arthur falls in love with her and they begin dating.
But just as the original story, she would cheat on Arthur with the jock-type Lance, the QA/Tester of the group (as a reference for him being the more doer action adventure guy that Lancelot is). The table they would come together for team meetings would be the Round Table.
The Holy Grail is a gaming award that the team is fighting to win with the game they're making, Avalon.
