Samantha Hines is a New Jersey based artist pursuing a career in Visual Development. She has received her BFA in Animation & Visual Effects from Academy of Art University.
She has illustrated for a variety of clients in 6 countries to date. Her work includes Grow with Love, a coloring book made with Kelly Walk Hines, Canine Strategies Workbook by Eric Michael Cohen, and The Mean Old Man Who Didn’t Like Children by Richard Zielinski. Her artwork has been shown in galleries and was featured in Hope in the Darkness, a domestic violence awareness exhibit.
In Fall 2020, she was director and character/creature designer for a semester-long team project to create a Pitch Deck for an animated series. She assisted with prop design and storyboards. Her team populated the Pitch Deck with a logline, synopsis, character designs, creature designs, maps, and props. The presentation concluded with an animatic, complete with a scratch track with voice acting, music, and sound effects.
